Injured Welsummer pullet (PICS)

My rooster did that to my hen and she healed amazingly fast. I put on blu cote and put her back with the hens in two or three days. She looks great now. All her feathers grew back in good.

While at the farm store to get some Blue Kote I saw a bottle of Vetreicyn and it was on sale, the bottle reads like a curall for everything but sounds great for me Wellie girl and easy to spray on so I am trying that. I Blue Koted her and put her out with her buddies and she just looked misureable and jumpy, some came to her and looked her neck over....took a couple pecks and walked away. Too stressful for Wellie so I put her in a dog kennel in my shop. She was just too smelly (poop) to keep in the brooder in the house with my 5 little week old EE pullets.

Its pooring down rain today, when the weather is better I will take the kennel outside in the coop and she can see her buddies.
