Injury on beak

Any thoughts on what would cause what looks like a small cut on the top of their beaks? If it matters, this is on 2 out of 3. I believe the 3rd is actually a roo. Was he aggressive maybe?

Are you using a metal feeder? Looks as if they are scraping their beaks on something.

@sourland, thanks for responding. I'm still just using small shallow dishes that are open for water and food. Only one side of their setup is chicken wire since they are still inside to maintain temperature. I don't know what they could be scraping it on.

that normal for my chickens occasionally. They look at a lizard through the wire and try to get to it cutting their comb slightly on the wire. I usually clean it up and leave it alone since it scabs and heals in a matter of time.
