Injury or disease: two chickens with swollen watery eyes?

I looked at two of my EE's today while they were free-ranging, and I noticed that each had one very watery eye with swelling above it.
Is it an injury or a disease? And if it a disease, which one? They are acting normal, and I have them in quarantine.

Umm.. Maybe eye worms?

I don't know for sure though. I haven't had any with it, just saw pictures a few days ago and it looks similar.

Hope I helped! Or at least ruled out something.

Hi did you ever resolve this problem with your chickens as my chickens are now presenting with a very similar looking problem. Thank you in advance for your advice. Kind Regards Noodlerose

Do you have a good vet over there? it could be a number of things including allergies or as other's are saying worms. if it is worms they will start to weaken. get a good worm med, or as we used to do chewing tobacco, don't give them very much just a very very small pinch. its better to give them to little than to much and repeat over a number of days. no more than they can pick in one peck.
