Injury or Disease?

Hey, my Roo has some black crusty spots on his comb. I took a close look at it and some of it is flaking off with healthy looking skin under it, so it's probably an injury. What kind of antiseptic can I use on Chickens?

Boy, his hens were upset with us for catching him and looking him over!!

You really don't need to do anything to it. It will heal just fine on it's own. If you feel you absolutely need to though, try some blue kote.
