hhello just got 2 rescued ex battery hens, on first day one got into my main run and picked a fight with my other ladies, result was before I could intervene she was mobbed by two and in the fray her foot was injured.
She is still eating and drinking, but she' s limping. Her foot did swell. I wrapped it but and smeared it with arnica on grounds it works on us and is natural, she left the dressing alone. Swelling is going down but she still won't walk much. Any suggestions for best way to support her foot whilst it mends. I am letting her and other rescue bed in a crate at night so she not having to roost on it. Thanks for any suggestions
