Okay ran home at lunch and flushed, blukoted and gave electrolytes. I got a pic of her back but not under her wing. I feel warmth from the right side so that worries me a bit...

Sometimes the initial warmth is blood flowing to the site of the injury - but you are right, it can be a sign of infection. I am thinking at this early point, it may be the former. Anyone reading here who wants to correct me, please do so - it is all about the ducks' health and well being.

How are things tonight?

Washed wounds and gave her a bath after work and again just now before bed. Her beak is blue from the blukote as she has started to dry herself. Should I refrain from using the blukote?

She's eating a very small amount and drinking whenever I bath her (4 tiresome times today).

What to do now? Repeat, wait, repeat until we see a decline or improvement?

Please excuse typos I'm tired with the duck babies and Ellie all with high needs (they are all worth it).
