I also found that something that states this: "On March 15, a resident of Alameda County submitted a chicken infected with VND to a veterinary office in Redwood City. Veterinarians euthanized the animal." This can be confusing. Redwood City is in San Mateo County but the chicken came from Alameda County and I can find no reference as to what town in Alameda County. Oh, I found that the chicken came from Hayward, CA. Most county fairs and other poultry shows have been cancelled this year.

The link I posted above...has a chart of all cases.
I'm not familiar with the counties/areas...is this the one listed on Feb 22?
No, Feb 22 cases were all around Los Angeles. This case happened on March 14th when a Hayward (Alameda County) man took his chicken to a vet in Redwood City (San Mateo County) and it was confirmed to be Newcastle and the chicken was put down. It was not reported to the news until March 18th, now looking at the list I believe it's the March 13th incident in Alameda County.

I'm not a fan of the news.
I've been keeping an eye in the site I linked.
