Insect or bug trap - catching bugs for your flock

That sounds interesting! So basically a type of bug zapper? Sounds like something else I can try too! I would still like to find a way to catch live ones, but the chickens like dead ones too! Thanks!

Ive been wondering the same thing, i was thinking about a bug zapper hanging from the trees above the coop area to leave a pile of midnight munchies for the cluckers. There is a small stream like 20 feet behind the fenced area and it's more like a swamp so the mosquitoes are already abundant, imagine adding a light source to pull the swarm in. Just trying to think of the dangers. Like are my chickens curious enough to try and swing on it or peck inside?
