I have an idea that I need to run by others here before I put my plan into action.

Like many in mosquito infested areas, we have an ongoing problem with tons of mosquitoes. While mostly just a nuisance to the chickens, I have had some die from mosquito borne diseases in the past. What I would like to do is spray a mosquito spray in the coop, perhaps daily, while the chickens are out free-ranging. Of course I would remove all food and water vessels first.

The litter on the floor of the coop is sand.

I have a question please: How safe are the mentioned chemicals for chickens?

This advertisement below is the spray I am considering.

Many thanks :)

What is pyrethrums?
Pyrethrum is an organic pesticide that is derived from a species of chrysanthemum, Tanacetum cinerariaefolium. It has been used for centuries as natural pesticides and used widely in winery.
Learn more about pyrethrums: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrethrum, http://www.pyrethrum.org/

Are pyrethrums certified to be safe by any health organization?
Yes. Pyrethrums is certified and approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Food and Agriculture of the United Nations (FAO) to be safe from harmful residues.

Why pyrethrums are not used more widely in insecticides?
Because the natural extracts of pyrethrums are expensive. Most companies do not want to take the risks of higher costs. At Kayari, we care for your health. We believe that you want the best for your family and that is why we choose to use only natural extract of pyrethrums so that you have a safer and healthier alternative to protect your family from insects and mosquitoes.

Active Ingredients:
Pyrethrins………………………………………………….0.10% W/W
Esbiothrin………………………………………………….0.15% W/W
Permethrin………………………………………………...0.08% W/W

The most efficient way to control mosquitos is to prevent them from breeding. Do this by draining the areas they multiply in. While Pyrethrum is safe for chickens I don't see spraying your coop as an effective strategy.

The usual method of mosquito control is to spray a fine mist from a mosquito fogger right after Sundown which is when the mosquitos go on their nightly mating and feeding flights.

While Pyrethrum is chicken safe it will kill most species of aquatic life. Because you are in Thailand a land of many lakes, streams, and canals I would use Pyrethrum with the upmost caution.

Pyrethrum besides being an insecticide, is also an insect repellent. So it may work better if you spray or dip your birds. I don't know for sure because I have never used Pyrethrum to repel bugs, only to kill them.
