My project coop is taking me too long due to an injury.
We went to a place that sells shed, barns etc and bought a chicken coop to be delivered. It is really nice and sturdy. I noticed it had what I am assuming is clover mites inside and outside of the coop. It is a new building with new materials but has been sitting on the lot a while. How should I exterminate these pests before my chickens move into it?
(After it gets delivered of course)

This is going to be the coop for my 5 Barred Holland’s. I’ll finish my project coop later for expansion. These pics are of it on the lot. It should be delivered next week.
We will be taking off the chicken wire and adding 1/4 inch hardware on the covered pen and adding it to the window. I’m going to add a roost with pdz poop board attached above the nests. Also pink foam board insulation will go between the studs and finished. Some will have to wait until my injury heals. Right now my chickens are in a dog run in my kennel building. I have bird dogs,
I hope the chicks don’t have a hard time adapting. My kennel is climate controlled but not kept too cool, just enough for all to be comfy in the heat of the day.
