My rooster Loves my hen so much. She is broody right now and he watches her all day. When she goes to lay an egg he is right there in the nest with her. I can touch him, but if i touch her, now thats a diffrent story.

This is Thunder.

This is Omelet.
They loved each other so much. Omelet got attacked by a hawk and Thunder came over and challenge the hawk keep in mind Thunder is a bantam. He went over and beat the heck out of the hawk and saved his girl. Sadly one day Thunder died because of fowl pox and Omelet would not leave his body. It was so sad. We buried Thunder and had a funeral for him and Omelet attended it. Omelet has not been herself since. She has not layed a egg since he died. I feel so bad for her. They had a special relationship that will never be broken. They love each other so much. He protected her. He would not let her leave in sight. Because of Thunder's fowl pox he became blind. I know that when Omelet passes she will walk in heaven with him. They really did love each other and still do.

Thank you all for the comments. I love hatching and watching, lol. This couple melted me though. This chick did not leave the others side and even tried to help him out. It turns out that I had to help it out or it may have died. I think the one that hatched already knew something was wrong and that is why she would not leave his side.
