I have some chicks that are between 5-6 weeks old. They are much larger than any other chicks of that age that I have seen! Because of the time of the year (I live in lower Alabama) I have been keeping them inside in a large puppy pen. However they are flying out now. How old should they be before moving them outside? Most night are in the mid to high 40’s or 50’s. Might get close to the 30’s a few more times before the end of February.

They are pretty much fully feathered. I think they would do just fine outside.
