i was wondering if turkeys ever stay inside a pen...i have mine with a huge run and a smaller pen inside if its snowing or raining and never see them inside unless when i feed them..there is some really cold night here in canada and still there always outside...is there a reason???

Mine do the same thing. As long as they aren't getting frostbite and it's safe for them to be out at night, it's OK, IMO.

One thing you CAN do if it will work in your situation is to place the ONLY elevated roost INSIDE of the nightime enclosure. They seem to need to roost at night, and if that is the only place they can sleep off the ground, they'll use it. At least, that works with mine.

yeah i should try that.they have lot more bigger roost outside..its all fenceed..there is only one roost inside.i will take some out from outside and put them inside..thanks for the info..
