I treated a group of my layers with S-P 50, an oral lincocyin-spectinomycin combination. Since it is only labeled for use in chicks up to 7 days old, does anyone know the witholding time on eggs from treated chickens. My vet advised me to use this drug, but he isnt sure how to surly say how long to withold the resulting eggs? Thanks for any input.

I know with most treatments - worming or antibiotics - the egg withholding is two weeks. With that particular drug I don't know, but I think I know someone that might. I'll point him in the direction of your thread.

7 days in meat, 3 days in egg.
You can google "s-p 50 withdrawal time." It will take you to "LINCOSPECTIN W.S.P." Click it.
It sounds like it's a good treatment for MG, E coli and coryza in poultry.
