I've stopped getting on the computer when I can't sleep because there were some bad online shopping decisions.

Years ago I dreamed I was at work and the task I was working on kept looping back to the beginning so I could never finish.

I finally told my brain to cut it out because we were not getting paid to work in the middle of the night! It worked!! LOL

I slept better than usual last night. I think it was because I was up so late after a hard days work on the farm. I was totally exhausted when I went to bed after taking meds for pain and cramps. It's going to be another hot one today but thankfully not nearly as hot as it has been the last few days. l mostly likely will sleep in spurts tonight.

Well I’m glad you got a good nights rest! I was up a few times last night.

When we finish processing the freezer camp birds I'm taking a nap even if I don't sleep tonight. I had a short night's sleep last night. 8 more to go and we are done for the day. It's a good thing the gas tank used to heat the scalding water ran out or I would be in deep trouble.

2am here. My youngest woke up and now of course I can’t go back to sleep. It’s storming pretty bad here and has been for a couple of hours. I’m sure we will have some flooding in the garage

Sorry about the storms and flooding! There's been a lot of extreme weather lately here, too -- flood/severe thunderstorm warnings and/or heat advisories for the last three days. The last advisory ended at 11 p.m. yesterday, and it is a blissful 69 degrees now.

I was up about 1 a.m., thanks to barking by one of my dogs. I took a quick "kitten census" outdoors to make sure all were safe, didn't hear any coyotes concerts and figured I'd just lie down on the sofa for a few minutes. I fell asleep for a couple of hours!

My back is sore because the sofa is not the same as a good mattress. Yet, if I had gone back upstairs and gone to be on a fairly pricey, new-this-year mattress, I'm pretty sure I would not have fallen back asleep.

I know how it is trying to go lay down in bed and sleep lol. I can be so tired, falling asleep on the couch, and then I lay in bed and I’m WIDE awake
Luckily the garage wasn’t flooded too bad!

I might as well of got online last night as it was one of the worst nights of insomnia I've had in a month or so. Kept trying to sleep but failed miserably. Going to add a low dose of Benadryl to my meds tonight and hope it works.
