I think I was 16 when I last received six solid hours of sleep and awoke feeling rested. So long ago I can't recall what feeling rested feels like - not even on working vacations.

Most of my insomnia as of late is worry about the chickens surviving the night of extreme heat we are currently experiencing with no hope of a break in sight with rain. I awake and have to check on them, listening, readjusting fans, positions, speeds, etc. I worry sick about them in this extreme heat. Only by the Grace of God will we make it through this long summer.

Back at ya Shrek. I was just outside again checking on the girls. All is quiet in the coop. DANG IT'S HOT!!! Fans on full blast and I feel like all I'm doing is forcing hot air to blow around. I guess hot air moving is better than no air moving. I don't know.

I’m so glad (well not glad we can’t sleep) that this thread is still going! I’ve had minimal sleep all week. My mom had unexpected open heart surgery on Sunday so it’s been an exhausting week

Anyone else suck at sleeping?
You can find me browsing BYC all hours of the night. I’ve always had trouble sleeping so I’ve just learned to live on minimal sleep.
