Inspected & Approved!!

Since the girls were refusing the use the old set of boxes for laying(only pooping!) I decided i should make some more of the boxes they like, the duck nesting boxes. After construction they passed the initial inspection by the "head Hens" and today they passed their final inspection by recieving a 9/10 eggs!!!

It's recycled shelving out of an OLD auto parts store. a neighbor was cleaning out his barn so i brought it all home, of course! Awesome "vintage" green, orange & blue colors.

Excellent! I have an uncle who saves *everything*. I quit asking him why he keeps all that "junk". It never fails; he always finds a use for something he saved at one time or another. For example....he hasn't had cats in almost 10 years, but he saved all the litter boxes. They made perfect starter ponds for the baby ducks!

Your boxes are fantastic! Hooray for you for saving them from the dump...
