Here are two eggs:

Not unusual, you say? So what, you say, they're just two different-colored eggs.

But, my friends, there eggs came from the SAME HEN in two consecutive days! Ophelia, our Welsummer, used to lay pale eggs... then she suddenly switched to terra cotta! We are thrilled... but mildly confused about the switch.
