I have a I was told a year old hen. She started laying eggs. My other hens haven't started yet. But my hen layed a total of maybe 12 eggs and I haven't gotten any since and it has been maybe a month since I gotten any. I thought maybe they have been eating them but no signs of that maybe something have been taking them. So I took a fake egg that I had used in the passed nope that is still there.. the eggs that I have received were smaller then a normal chicken egg. And has no York which is new to me . But the last egg I did get was a normal size. Any information would be helpful. Thank you in advance

Please post pictures of your suspected layer and your other hens and coop/laying area set up.
The small, no yolk egg is called a fairy egg.
This randomly occurs when some pullets first start to lay.
Also, what are you feeding your chickens?

I will when I go up and take care of them. I have had chickens for years and never had issues that why I had Questions. I been feeding them starter/grower. But when I got the laying hen I had to get laying pallets because she was already laying. So I just mixed it in with the starter grower because I was getting ready to switch them over soon anyway.

Has it been especially hot lately? Extreme heat can put hens off laying, most of mine have either slowed down or outright stopped because we were getting 100F temps about every day. Might they also be starting their molt early? Pictures would definitely be helpful

What breed? Many hens lay for a while and than take a break for a while. We are getting closer to the fall molt and hens are starting to lay less, and some are quitting already, especially the poor layers.
