instant pudding

I am gonna make cookies and the recipe calls for instant pudding do I add just the powdered packs of instant pudding or do I make it into pudding and add that to it?

Does anyone know or have you ever used it in any recipes for baking?

I have several cake recipes that call for pudding mix, so I would add it dry unless the recipe states to make it into pudding.

I made these cookies last night and they are so soft.....very good recipe.

I found a really good, moist Banana Bread recipe here that called for 2 pkgs. of vanilla pudding. You add it right from the box.
This banana bread was THE BEST!
