OMG, it is soooooo hard!

Flunked it twice dropped it the third time - I'm an Algebra morron. I was taking it at night with a full load and working plus had two young ones at the time. I had all A's except for Algebra. The prof wanted to know what the problem was. I told her I was no good with using letters. She said I could use anything I wanted. i asked if I could use numbers!!! She was not impressed with my logic. That and I took to wearing a shirt that said "Why do I need Algebra for a career in *adult entertainment*" Not quite the wording, but it was super funny - to me. To my prof, not so much!!

I'm in my last week, and so far my grade is like a 73

Could be better, but at least I'm not failing!!

I just have a flat out mental block. I never remember all those rules. I can do accounting and macro/micro economics like nobody's business, but flat out algebra - nope, not happening.

At least you're passing and you'll be done soon!!!!!

Next class is financial something-or-other, which I guess isn't all that easy either. Oh well, at least this algebra, and my accounting class, will be over with. The accounting class seems even more difficult than the algebra!!

I have several reasons:

1. It's either too hot or cold outside and I'm in the house to take a break from barn chores.
2. I don't watch TV except when Leverage is on.
3. I like to procrastinate.
4. It keeps me from cooking or cleaning (or other chores I hate).
5. Living in the country and it makes me think I'm talking to people.
6. Helps me find answers to my chicken questions.
7. Entertainment

The few friends I do have in my area will say something about me talking a lot when we're together...But when you are around a 60-something man (dad) and a 4 year old boy, what else can you do? I'm starved for some REAL adult conversations!!
