Insulating tractor for cold weather

have two chicken tractors , 2/3 is run covered with tarp for protection of sun/ rain, 1/3 is wood enclosed for egg laying and roosting..how best to insulate gor cold w I nter nights/days?

You are in Arkansas? You really don't have tough winters. You shouldn't need any insulation and most assuredly, no supplemental heat. The best thing for the birds is DRY and well ventilated roosting area. They will do just fine.

In Arkansas? No worries. Your "hard" winters are our mild winters. Chickens wear a down coat all the time - they will love being cool! Just keep them dry and well ventilated. Try to keep them off mud too.

When it is colder, chickens tend to eat more, so just keep that in mind if you do get a cold snap.
