9 chickens, the vents are 12"x3". Adding more though. I see that is not enough.How many chickens do you have?
And a 12" furnace vent... is that 12 inch square?
Or 12 x 4?
If the vents are 12 inch square, then, with 2 vents, that is the minimum ventilation recommended for 2 chickens.
If they are both 12x4, then you are under the minimum recommended for a single chicken.
