Integrating a chicken back into the flock

I have a two year old Buff Orpington who has been separated from the flock for 1 1/2 years. I pulled her when she first started laying because she couldn’t walk. I originally thought she might have a serious disease, but eventually (after a few months ) started walking again. Because I was concerned about her, I wanted to monitor to make sure it didn’t reoccur. Time eventually got away from me and now, a year later, she seems good. However, twice I have tried to integrate her back into the flock, but it never works out. The first time she was pecked near her eye and the second time her beak got broken. I hate to keep her as an only bird, but can’t seem to get her back with the others. At times she even seems to be the aggressor. Any suggestions?

The place to start is to set her up to live 24/7 in an enclosure right next to the flock but separated by wire.
How many other birds in your flock?
Dimensions and pics of your coop and run would help here.

I will try to take pictures later. I do have a box I could put her in, however I currently have another chicken in there because she is bald. I believe she is at the bottom of the pecking order and I am waiting for her to go through a molt.
