I posted yesterday about my shipment of dying chicks. I had split the order with a friend.
I'm getting replacements sent on Monday. I plan to give most of my surviving chicks to my friend this weekend, holding back 3 or four so my total with the replacements will be 15.
Do you think there will be a problem combining these two batches together in the brooder box right away? Would the 3 or 4 one-week olds overpower the new ones? Should I separate them till they're a little older? Will it be harder to integrate them if I wait?

This wasn't supposed to be so complicated!!

I mix my chicks together all the time. They seem to do just fine if the older ones are under 2 weeks. Or if there is only a week to 10 days separating all ages.
