I’m integrating 4 chicks (7weeks old) with 19-20 week birds. The integration is going well. I have sperate food for the chicks in their little safe haven the big birds can not get, which they eat. However I noticed today that one of the chicks was going up to the main feeder for the big birds.
I’ve been mixing the grower with layer as they’ve gotten close to their egg laying time. With that in mind, when the chicks are fully integrated, how do I, or should I even try to feed them separate food?

Actually all feeds other than layer are about 1% calcium. I've never seen a chicken feed that was 0% calcium. All chickens, regardless of age need about 1% calcium. Only birds building egg shells need more.
All flock can range from 18%-22% depending on manufacturer.
