Integrating ducks

SO, it has been a while. We've lost all but 4 of our ducks to hawks and something I don't want to take a guess at. We have 3 Muscovies and one lone Rouen. All 4 get along swimmingly, but there are times when I think it would be nice for Sunshine (Rouen) to have someone like her around.

Sunshine's bestie Duckter, which we lost, was a runner/pekin mix. He was an awesome, patient, faithful companion. I think she sometimes still calls for him. So, we would like to get her at least one friend who was like Duckter, except female. Duckter was great, but he was an active drake and the female Muscovies weren't appreciative.

We have found a place near us that is selling adult runner or runner mixes. So, my question is this:

If we get one or two of these beauties for Sunshine, will they flock with her, or stick together and leave her out? The last thing we want is to get friends who turn out to not to be friends.

I've thought about this. We would need to set up a separate pen, but I think we may just do this. We were actually thinking about hand raising some ducklings over the winter and introducing them in the spring. Sunshine spent time inside with us after a hawk attack she survived. It did wonders for her.
