Integrating new pullets

There are lots of suggestions in this thread, nothing there gives you some ideas?

I have exactly the same situation! Have 3x 7month old hens (2 reds, 1 bantam) and 3x 3month old australorps. Have separated the coop with chicken mesh. Have been living alongside each other for a few weeks now.
When I let the together, our "head red" goes nuts. Attacks the new girls, jumps on them, pins them down, attacks their heads while sitting on them. They are terrified of her. The other 2 are copying her and attacking.
What do i do?

I think the biggest thing I learned from reading a few threads here about integrating new chickens into the flock was to give them places where they can have a break in the line of sight and or hide/have shelter from more aggressive birds. Having a better understanding of chicken mentality helps give them what they need for better chance at success. Mine have only been in the look, don't touch setup since Saturday afternoon...so it's still early on for us.
