Ok so here it is again. The left side of the coop that’s separated is where the teenagers have been sleeping. Right side is nesting boxes and roost for big hens up top. The problem with this design is that I need to leave the big hatch open so that everyone can get in their respective areas. And once the rain begins, that’s just going to get the inside of the coop soaked... during the day they all mingle and are in the same run already and have been since birth. Hope that makes things a bit clearer.

How big is that coop...4x4?
What are the plans for the cockerels?
I'd just take down the mesh and rig another roost for the babies down lower on same side the were in.

The coop is either 4X5 or 4X6. We plan on keeping one Buff Roo and the one Buff pullet. For the others I am trying to find a good home for. So you think as long as they have their own roost they should be ok? Should I take all food out?
