Integrating

We're making progress! Tiny has been spending all day in the new run with the other girls. Last night was her first night to sleep in the coop with them, and they all survived lol. Lemon Drop seems to be getting braver around her, the other girls still run. But we're definitely getting there.

I'm so sad for Tiny. They're finally going to sleep at night without too much bickering, but poor Tiny is all alone. She misses her brothers and sleeps by herself and stays alone all day. Is it possible for her to eventually bond with the girls and have some companionship?

Usually loners don't bond as well, chickens all have little friendship groups within the flock.

She doesn't have to be best friends with the rest of the flock to be part of the flock. There's also the age difference to consider. Once all the birds are laying, the flock dynamics will change along with their hormones.
