Integration NIGHTMARE! Are some chickens destined to not get along?

This was my thought as well...put the hen you want to hatch eggs from with the roo in a pen.

This is what I would do. It does not solve the integration problem, but at least the hen you desire is with the rooster. After the move to a new home and all of the stress from fighting, understand that she may take a break in her laying cycle and go into a molt.
