Integration of our new chick

Picking up a 1 day old BR the day after tomarrow. I have the little brooder set up next to the other crate (where my two 6 week old silkies are). I will be getting 3 more chicks in a couple of weeks. Will it be ok to have all of the little ones together (age difference approx 2.5 weeks).?

They will be out with a heat lamp, always in eye shot of the silkies. Should I just use size as a guide to begin introductions?

HUm, We are new to the chicken family....we have some week old chicks with our 2 week old chicks...

BUT we have to watch and listen always....( there is one weaker) ...but they mostly just get along!
