This group is taking EONS compared to last time. Last batch was in with the adults by 7 weeks, roosting like they belonged. This batch is 8 & 9 weeks and hasn't been brave enough to enter the hen house yet. Ugh! The cream legbar in charge (aka murder-on-the-mind) has not helped the situation. Each time she passed the littles whether out in the open or in the run space, she'd chase and peck hard, sometimes pull a feather.

Today is the first day she hasn't driven them out of the run space when she noticed them in there.

Baby steps.

All the rest have accepted them, it's literally just one hen. If she doesn't get over herself, she's going to find herself housed in the baby coop all alone. I hate to do it because then she's away from the nest boxes but this is ridiculous.
