Integration Success

Good morning all my fellow chicken lovers!! I am proud to announce that my 7 month old pullets and my 3 month old pullets are now all in one coop!!! I am so excited about this. My 3 month old's spent several weeks in see but no touch before I started letting them free range with the big girls. I'm sure a pecking order is still being worked out but all in all the only time I see pecking is when they all come together at treat time. Patience is definitely the key to a successful integration. Woot woot!!! It's great when it all works out. My daughter gave me one of her Americana pullets to which we tried integrating her with my pullet flock. They hated her!!! Put her straight in with my silkie flock and they accepted her from the get go. So now I have 5 silkies and one big girl in a flock lol.
