Well I may be a dummy. You guys talk about putting barriers or blinders in the coop and run for hiding places.

I do a good job of bringing young hens in - I can give them places to get.

But for these grown hens that’s not possible.

My barriers were just pine tree branches etc. A place to dash behind but not an out of site spot.

I’m sure there is a post here on what to do but I can’t find it.
 
I hate for poor Nugget to stay in jail that long but it might beat rehoming.

In this pic the newcomers were in jail.

It's safer for her. You can try letting her out sooner under supervision to see how it's going. I'd probably start after a week or so. Put her back where she's safe when you can't watch until you feel safe leaving her out.
