Well IDK how much longer its gonna take to integrate my baby chicks to the older ones....but darn is it frustrating. They been living next to each other for about 2 weeks now and I took one of the babys....and put her with the older birds(2 roosters, hen and a pekin duck) and I had to work fast cuz the roosters kept trying to take flying leaps at the baby.

Move them into the henhouse at night. I either put mine on the floor or on the lowest rung of the roost. When they come out the next morning, everybody who exits is considered part of the flock.

That's what I did as well and it made for a very peaceful introduction. I had them in an adjacent pen for the day, then put them on the roost at night. The next day, it was all good.

I always break up the group of the strongest because they tend to gang up. I move one of the older/stronger chickens into a neutral spot with all of the younger/weaker. To be aggressive means to be ostracized. Every couple of days add another older.

Always works for me and even worked on getting two roos to hang out without fighting.
