So, what's the point of the bob-bird?

Research reveals conflicting reports about fertility in this hybrid. Folks who market it state it will not breed(sterile) While some research shows that it can reproduce=== So make your own assumptions on that part.

For the record, while it may be an oddity or freak of nature, some of them are attractive lil birds

The pictures I saw were only of coturnix well I assume cause they didn't look mixed. Does anyone have a picture cause now that JJMR794 says they are attractive I'm wondering......

I don't suppose you can put a button and a jap together and hope for the best, but since coturnix/chicken hybrids have been produced for scientific research since 1958 by AI, it's likely a chi/jap hybrid could be produced the same way by someone with the knowhow. Probably wouldn't be fertile but it would look interesting. A coturnix/turkey has been produced too. I bet that looks freaky!
