I prefer CX for meat as well. 8 weeks from hatch to freezer, big juicy and tender. Dual purpose will often take up to 24 weeks to gain their size and rangers 12-14. The longer they live on fresh grass, the more flavorful they become, but the other side of the coin is the older they are, the tougher they are.
