I was on Youtube and found a documentary that was well worth watching. It is almost an hour long, but it is great. It is about Dholes, a wild dog that lives in India, but shows other animals and the funny thing is sometimes in the scenes where the Dholes are hunting, you hear peafowl in the background honking loudly!

Not only was it fun to see the forest setting that peafowl live in which includes bamboo forests, but I noticed a specific plant growing all over the place in this setting that I recognized...It just happens to be in my peafowl pen! It was the Lantana, which is supposed to be poisonous and pops up on its own in my aviary. I have seen my peafowl eat the leaves and berries off of this plant. The funny thing is that it looks like this plant is from their native habitat. Wow!!

Well, here is a link to the documentary:

It shows you just what kind of large and tough predators peafowl have to deal with in the wild.

I've been alucinated about the people who stole the food to this wild dogs!
