Interesting Feather Pattern

This is BAC. I got her in the RIR Black sex link bin, but with this feather pattern, I’m thinking it wasn’t RIR she was mixed with. Anybody know what would’ve made the hearts on the tips? I love them!

I had two homegrown BSL chicks (one died from an accident) that had similar patterning.

This is the one I still have. Her father is a New Hampshire and her mother is a Dominique/Buff.

Thank you for the replies! I knew she was a sex link, I was just curious which breed could make that pattern. It’s interesting to see all the different variations!

Thanks. just fyi don't use lightweight wide containers in with the chickens. I found the chick dead underneath a plastic washtub that we had been using for water when it was really cold. I assume she perched on the edge and it flipped over on top of her and she couldn't get out. We didn't find her for a few days after it happened.
