Interesting silkie...what to call the color?

Thought this was interesting, and figured Id share. Im not 100percent on who the mother is, but the father is a buff. The possble hens could be buff,grey, or khaki-ish.This isnt a porcelain is it? It looks wayyyy too dark to be, but i figured Id ask.

Someone suggested being a poorly marked partridge, chick was born buff in color, and doesnt seem to have any penciling or pattern on the feathers. I do have a red/buff partridge however, that almost looks tigerish in pattern.

Looks just like a very poorly colored buff to me. A smutty buff. Def. not a porcelian.

What color were the parents?

Father was buff, mother is one of the ones listed above. It looks almost more blue than buff.

Off colored buff. It's a cross between colors so it doesn't 'fit' into a specific color category. Very dark buff with blue down and miscoloration would be closest I think. I don't see the pencilling either. I think I was the one who mentioned off-colored part.. but there isn't any pencilling.
