I am building a coop 7x4x4ft the flor is going to be metalic mesh in the floor made of wood, with a big window, in the mean time I place this box (interim coop) inside the run, they are 4 weeks old and seems they like it.

once I finish the actual coop (next week) I was planing to remove the box and force them to move to the actual coop, but I am evaluating to let them there.

is it a problem this box due to the poor ventilation?, what kind of problem may apear if I let them there for more time than next week?

temps: 80F days, 40-50 nights
10 chicks.
box is around 3x4ft

The large coop will be marginal in size when they are grown. It will work if they are not confined to it for long periods in the winter. The problem with little too little ventilation is humidity buildup causing disease and frostbite in the winter. I would go ahead and move them into the bigger coop when it is done.
