Internal egg layer? Again?

I lost one of my red sex links in July to what I believed was internal egg laying. She started acting lethargic and not her normal self about a month before she passed away, she then passed away on my birthday. Now her sister who is also a red-sex link from the same "batch" at the feed store, (we got them both at the same time, and they are the same breed, so same batch is possible) has started acting really lethargic, tonight when I put them away she was huddled in the corner head shrunken down and tail down. (It is raining but our other four chickens are just their normal little selves), I can't remember the last time she layed and egg, and her "droppings" are starting to look like what her sisters did. Could this also be internal egg laying? I read that it could be genetic is that true? It breaks my heart to see her go through what her sister did. Thanks!

I am sorry, it does sound like what is happening.

I do not know if it is genetic - would not surprise me - but I do know that it happens alot to hatchery stock, bred to lay early and heavy.
