It’s day 25 for this little duck, and I think it’s the beak internally pipping, but I’m not sure. Should I intervene now or later?

Why would you intervene and what could you do?

Ducks don't hatch as early as chickens do.

Be patient and let it do it's thing.. it could be another 24 hours or more before external pip and zip. Looks like it's coming along!

It's not quite an internal pip until it breaks through the inner membrane completely.
Are these call duck eggs? If not, there is no need to intervene. Ducks are amazing hatchers on their own!

Hi! I’m hatching currently too. I don’t think you have any need to intervene-not at this point. Leave it be for now. I have one that is Malpositioned and am questioning if I should intervene but overall I’m trying to be super patient. Mine have externally pipped but it was about 24 hours after the internal and it’s been 24 hrs since external. Ducks are slow hatchers from everything I’ve read. Try to do something to distract/keep your mind off of it for now and just keep checking back every few/several hours. Good luck!

Don't intervene. Just let it do it's thing. When it does start to hatch it could take 24 hrs to hatch. don't help. Some people want to help as soon as they see a pip hole, but when people help too soon, the belly button ends up on the outside of the chick along with contents, and the chick may die. Look for a site where some one says "What is up with this chick's belly button?" if you want to see a "helped" chick. Pretty sad.
