so I’m on my first clutch of incubating duck eggs. My ducklings aren’t supposed to hatch for another week or so and one of the eggs is already internally pipping. Is this normal? Do they hatch early sometimes?? If so what should I do? They are currently in a SELF TURNING incubator, I know I’m supposed to take them out of it and place it in another flat incubator but it’s not set up yet

Are you sure about the dates?
Can you not just turn the turner off in your current bator?
Or remove it.

Do you have a calibrated thermometer in you bator to be sure you have been running it at the right temp and not too high?

I do have the temperature correct and humidity. And the dates are correct. I always write the date that they go in the incubator and the date that they are supposed to hatch. And I can’t romove the egg turner because I have other duck eggs in there to hatch at a later date. I’m usually good at chickens but ducks are a first for me
