I candled the bantam eggs before locking down and see they have internal pips and chirping. Im increasing the humidity, it's at 60% now. Is there a chance they will be shrink wrapped?

I'm using a little giant incubator. The temp has fluctuated often between 9 and 102. Is there a.way to tell if they are shrink wrapped?

9 degrees?
Here is another forum that should help you. Good luck!

I've gone to lockdown and found external pips in the past. Those chicks hatched out fine. The shrink wrap risk increases after external pip when more air can get to the inner membrane and dry it out. As long as the humidity stays around 60% or higher now they'll be o.k. Good luck with your hatch!

Thank you Sumi! I'm happy to hear that.. i've been worried and nervous that they are stuck and running out of air.

The poor chicks were stuck. This little cutie is the only survivor but appears to be very healthy and active. I'm trying to find a buddy for her, for now she's snuggling up with a fluffy piece of fleece.
