Peppermint looked behind her at the animals following her. "you guys i'm going to speed up before all traces of the trail are gone, i'll try to leave a trail behind me." she said. moving as fast as light and pretty much invisible, she quickly grabbed a large mouthful of grass, and, not slowing down, left a trail of it behind her. she had to get more about every ten steps, but she was moving a lot faster and thought she might have a half a chance of saving Mia...

Peppermint sighed. was she really moving that much faster? she needed something easier to leave a trail... thinking quickly, she moved closer to the treeline. her side hurt from all the branches she was running into and breaking, but it would leave a trail and it was more effective.
