(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've cared for chickens for family and friends for years but just finally got my own little flock
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 4 hens 1 rooster and 3 muskovy ducks (which were not originally on the plan
)
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 black gold laced wyandottes
1 possible Australorp
1 ?Easter egger cross hen
1 Easter egger rooster
(All came from a barnyard mix farm so I'm just guessing/assuming)
& 3 muskovy ducks
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Fresh eggs with potential for duel purpose next year
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Knitting, dabbling in canning, planning a summer garden then leaving the good Lord to take care of it until harvest
Sitting in my friends goat pasture with all the momma's and babies
Snuggling with bunnies there too
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Single mom of 2,
2 dogs - 3 cats (and a recently discovered feral barn cat) -
Currently unemployed due to car accident almost three years ago but had been pursuing dog grooming prior to that.

Google - a few years - finally have my own flocks and questions that are no longer completely hypothetical
