Intorducing new chicks to your flock?

Ok, my little guys are only 1 month old. I'm interested in getting a couple other breeds (total hobbie ckn lover)
I'm hearing they ahve to be same size? How does one achieve this?

I have my pen mixed with bantams and large breeds and they get along fine. When I have new chickies to move into the pen I wait until they are about 6 weeks old and then I put them out with the others, they get picked on initially but once the pecking order is re-established everything is fine (usually takes a few days). So I say mix that flock up!
