Welcome! I saw pics of your flock in your "Gender" thread, and they are beautiful! You should be proud.
Thank you. I'm learning as I go. I do have one of my splash Ameraucanas that wasn't in the pics. She is 1/2 the size of the other two. She has a hunched neck and dropped crop, but she is the sweetest, lovable one of the bunch. Who knew chickens could be so entertaining. If they catch a glimpse of me, it's like a v shaped hoard running to me. Lol Silly girls spend 1/3 of their day at the stoop of my screen door peeking over the kick plate and pecking it to make noise so someone will come out. When I go out n can hardly walk with 9 chickens at my feet. I'm looking forward to being part of the BYC group.

Oh those mini cows are adorable! One of our neighbors got one early spring. Their horse had been alone for couple yrs and I was happy to see her have company. Over time the little white calf didn't get much bigger. Then one day it was up closer to the fence. It was a white goat. Our daughter came home from grad school in May. As we were driving by one day , she commented on the neighbors getting a calf for their horse. I told her no, it's a goat. She said she had looked going by twice, it was never close enough to be sure. I told her I thought the same at first. She told me they had mini cows as well as horses now. A couple days later we stopped in the middle of the road. The joke was on us. Our neighbors had gotten their horse, a white mini cow and a white goat as companions.
